The District has received over six million dollars in private and public funds invested into building façade improvements, public parking enhancements, and beautification projects during the past five years. Lebanon’s Main Street District has also enjoyed an influx of local entrepreneurs opening boutiques, restaurants and personal service businesses. Lebanon’s Square was placed on the National Register of Historic Places as a Historic Commercial District in 1999.
